Steve Harvey Biopic ‘Seventy-Two’ Centering 1993 Apollo Theatre Performance In The Works

Actor/comedian and television host, Steve Harvey has a biopic in the works titled ‘Seventy-Two’ centering around the 72 hours leading up to his 1993 legendary performance at the Apollo Theatre.

According to Steve Harvey:

“I’ve been reluctant to make a movie about my life for years, until I read the pitch for Seventy-Two. It focuses on one of the most difficult moments in my journey and career, and shows the world that hope is never truly lost. Wait until you see what we do with this.”

Steve Harvey began his career as comedian before he the legendary Showtime at the Apollo from 1993 to 2000.  Steve Harvey before becoming one of The Kings of Comedy was the star of the WB’s sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, which ran for six season.
