24 Year old singer/songwriter, YK Osiris, went viral recently after grabbing and attempting to forcibly kiss 31 year reality television personality, rapper, songwriter and actress Sukihana twice, in Atlanta at the Crew League basketball game. YK Osiris believed he had the right to grab Sukihana and give her some sugar and as a result, social media has been dragging YK Osiris, pretty much accusing the singer of sexual assault.
Since the awkward incident Sukihana deleted her Twitter, but before she scrubbed her account she had this to say:
“I drink to hide that I’m very sensitive,” “I feel things more than the average person. I stopped drinking yesterday but today I’ve been crying all day. I asked God to strengthen me and use me to help others and order my steps in his word. I just want to go away for a while.” “I am hurt and I am scared to stand up for myself.”
Now it seems YK is waiving the white flag, and is apologizing for the unasked for kiss drama.
Via his own IG, YK Osiris offered an apology, writing:
“I want to publicly offer my sincerest apology to Sukihana. In an attempt to be playful, I misread the moment and viloated Sukihana’s boundaries.”
Take a look at the video that started the drama below. Is an apology on Instagram enough? Do you think YK Osiris over stepped his boundaries majorly?
