Netflix documentary Starting 5, a captivating sports series that follows the NBA’s biggest superstars as they compete throughout a thrilling, high-stakes season to win the title, giving viewers a clearer picture of the players life on and off the court. In season one they followed Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards, LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis and Jayson Tatum. In regards to Anthony ‘Ant Man’ Edwards we learned about the family man Edwards. Unfortunately the narrative of Anthony Edwards shifted following the shows success when baby mama’s started falling out the woodwork. Now it seems that season two of Netflix Starting 5 is having the same result on another NBA star featured in the documentary, James Harden, where a woman has taken to social media to blast Harden for sharing a false narrative about his family life in which he excludes her baby.
Oddly prior to the airing of, Starting 5, James Harden had kept his personal life largely out of public view for most of his career.
A woman identified on social media as Kelsea M. (@_twinkjm) has officially taken to Instagram to put the Los Angeles Clippers star, James Harden on blast. In a series of explosive posts shared on January 2, 2026, Kelsea alleged that Harden is the father of her newborn son and has been failing to provide the necessary support despite being aware of the situation since the beginning.
Kelsea made it clear that she is finished keeping secrets to protect the 36 year old’s public image, following him sharing his relationship with girlfriend Paije Speights on Starting 5, stating that he is in love with Speights and that he is in his “dad era” while mentioning his 6 year old son, Jace, and a new baby he was expecting with Speights, but has neglected to mention the one he shares with Speights.
“I don’t like bringing things to the internet, but I’m done protecting an image that doesn’t reflect the reality. You’ve known since day one, and you are just as responsible as I am. I stayed quiet because I wanted to handle this the mature way—but that only works when both people are acting like adults. Being the bigger person doesn’t mean carrying everything alone. It’s time for you to step up and take care of your son.”
