WNBA Star Angel Reese Adds Actress To Her Resume As She Is Officially Part Of ‘The Hunting Wives’ Cast

 WNBA star Angel Reese remixed Destiny’s Child’s ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’  20 years later insisting their lyrics still ring true, when she shared that the WNBA doesn’t pay her bills.  Hence why you see Angel Reese working her skills almost everywhere to compensate her dreams of playing professional basketball on the biggest stage.  The Bayou Barbie has added actress to her resume recently as she has announced she is officially part of the Netflix smash hit series ‘The Hunting Wives’ cast for season two.

Netflix, Lionsgate, and 3Arts Entertainment have announced that two-time WNBA All-Star Angel Reese will join season two of The Hunting Wives in the co-starring role of Trainer Barbie. The casting marks another major crossover moment for Reese as she expands her presence beyond sports into television.  Reese joins newly announced cast members Kim Matula, Alex FitzAlan, John Stamos, Dale Dickey, and Cam Gigandet.

The instant smash hit The Hunting Wives that premiered on Netflix in July of 2025 is an American drama television series based on the novel of the same name by May Cobb.  The Hunting Wives, staring Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, is about a wife and mother who moves from Massachusetts to the fictional East Texas town with her husband, and is drawn into the glamorous, dangerous world of a elite clique, the “Hunting Wives” entangling her in a web of obsession, secrets, and ultimately murder, when a teenage girl, is found dead in the woods where the Hunting Wives meet.
