White House Hints That Donald Trump Deserves Credit For The Cleveland Browns Drafting Shedeur Sanders [VIDEO]

Shedeur Sanders endured a lot this weekend, first falling out of the first round of the NFL draft all the way through the fourth round, before finally being drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round with the 144th pick.  Needless to say the world to the least was in shock with every round that passed by that no NFL team called Shedeur Sanders number.  President Donald Trump took to his social media to say:

“What is wrong with NFL owners, are they STUPID?” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “Deion Sanders was a great college football player, and was even greater in the NFL. He’s also a very good coach, streetwise and smart! Therefore, Shedeur, his quarterback son, has PHENOMENAL GENES, and is all set for Greatness. He should be ‘picked’ IMMEDIATELY by a team that wants to WIN. Good luck Shedeur, and say hello to your wonderful father!”

Fast forwarding the Cleveland Browns selected Shedeur Sanders with the 144th pick in the 5th round, now the White House is giving all praises to President Donald Trump for making it happen.

During a press briefing Monday (Apr. 28), Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt if Trump deserves credit for the Browns drafting Shedeur in the fifth round after he fell lower in the draft than expected.  Leavitt replied, “All I will say is the president put out a statement, and a few rounds later, he was drafted. So I think the facts speak for themselves on that one.”
