We were all accustomed to our pastor at one point or another to pass the plate in church, in some churches the plate comes around more than once and now with the COVID-19 pandemic a lot of churches are being held virtually with a virtual offering. We still have to take care of God’s house especially during the pandemic. However it is being reported that a pastor in Michigan is doing more than passing the plate asking for an offering, allegedly this particular pastor is asking his congregation to pass the VID.
According to a report allegedly Pastor Bart Spencer of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Holland in Western Michigan during a sermon told his flock to get on out there and catch COVID-19 telling them to “get it over with” saying it’s “all good.”
“COVID, it’s all good,” “It’s OK. Get it, get it over with, press on.”
Pastor Bart Spencer told a local news paper that he and several members of his family contracted the virus and have recovered.
