Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae Rapper Silento Arrested For Murder!?

23 year old Atlanta rapper Richard “Ricky” Lamar Hawk, best known as Silento, that had everyone, everywhere, young and old watching him whip, then watched him nae nae, has been arrested for murdering his 34 year old cousin Fredrick Rooks back in January.

According to a Tweet by the DeKalb police department:

Today, Ricky Hawk, 23, was arrested for the murder of his cousin Frederick Rooks, 34. On January 21, the DeKalb County Police Department investigated Rooks’ death after he was found shot on Deep Shoals Circle. Hawk is in the DeKalb County Jail charged with Murder

In January police responded to a call of a person shot at the intersection of Deep Shoals Circle and Corners Xing, were Frederick Rooks was found and pronounced dead. The incident report says that Rooks sustained gunshot wounds to the face and leg, and was bleeding severely.

In a statement released by Silento’s PR Manager, Chanel Hudson, she claims that the rapper has been struggling with mental health issues.
