USC Basketball Recruit Aaliyah Gayles Speaks After Being Shot Multiple Times [VIDEO]

Every parent when they watch their child go out to party with friends worry about their child’s safety only to breathe a sigh of relief when their child returns, for some depending on what happened when they left the safety of home heartbreakingly they don’t return, then you have the ones that return however won’t be the same.  In the case of USC recruit Aaliyah Gayles father his daughter will be on the court as Trojan after having two surgeries from being shot 10 times.

“She will be able to play ball again,”  “It’s God’s plan.” “She is still a USC Trojan,” 

Every parents dream for their child’s maturation to their success happened to 18 year old Spring Valley High School senior star basketball recruit Aaliyah Gayles who was taking her game to the next level after being recruited to take her game to the next level while furthering her education at University of Southern California while hopefully leading the Trojans too and through March Madness in 2023. 

Then every parents nightmare happened when Aaliyah Gayles went to a house party in North Las Vegas when shots rang out after an argument and Aaliyah Gayles was shot 10 times on both arms and legs. 

Now after two surgeries, hours before she was released from the hospital to transfer over to physical therapy, the McDonalds All-American Aaliyah Gayles shared how she’s feeling since the shooting. 

“My body is feeling alright but it hurts still,” “Yeah I can move my arms, just can’t feel my legs yet,”
