Two of R. Kelly’s Attorneys Believed They Could Fly Right Before His Federal Case

Seven months before R. Kelly’s federal criminal case trial is scheduled to begin in Chicago, two of R. Kelly’s attorney’s decided to remix Kell’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and have filed to withdraw from his federal sex crimes case.

According to reports Robert Kelly’s , lawyers Steve Greenberg and Michael Leonard, wrote a letter to the judge requesting to be removed from R. Kelly’s New York case. “Our reasons for withdrawal are significant and it is impossible, in our belief, for us to be able to continue to properly represent Mr. Kelly under the current circumstances,”.

It seems that Steve Greenberg and Michael Leonard couldn’t get along with R. Kelly’s other attorney’s because of  their lack of expertise, so they want to bounce:

“We refuse to try a case with lawyers who don’t have the appropriate level of experience and skill because that is not in the client’s best interest,” … “It is a shame that lawyers can’t suppress their own egos or self-interest and do or act in the client’s best interest.”
