Two Ex-East Cleveland Officers Plead Guilty to Robbing People During Traffic Stops [VIDEO]

Two former East Cleveland Police officers have traded in their uniform blues for orange jump suits as they have pleaded guilty to multiple robbery charges and theft while on duty.

Alfonzo Cole and Willie Sims both plead guilty to four counts of robbery and one count of theft in office for stealing from multiple people while on duty from July 2020 to July 2023.

Cole and Sims apparently during traffic stops were stealing large sums of cash, guns and marijuana.  An investigation revealed that a total of $14,781 was stolen along with two firearms from six total victims.

Both Alfonzo Cole and Willie Sims will be sentenced September 11, 2023. READ MORE
