Juneteenth is a federal holiday finally recognized in the United States in 2021, celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. This is the first Juneteenth holiday celebrated during the Trump administration and according to his social media he isn’t feeling it.
Instead of saying something positive on Juneteenth President Donald Trump the President that campaigned saying that he has done more for African Americans than anyone has, took to his social media too say that we have too many non-working days in America, and that “It must change if we are going to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Donald Trump in 2020 claimed that he made Juneteenth famous, and that , “nobody had ever heard of it.”
Meanwhile, Trump’s predecessor Joe Biden delivered remarks commemorating Juneteenth at a historic Black church in Galveston, where he said, “Our federal holidays say … who we are as Americans.” …“What we celebrate says what we value,”
