Trump Promises American $2K Checks, Then Didn’t Remember Saying It, Now He Is Promising $2K Saying He Doesn’t Need Congress Permission [VIDEO]

Before Donald Trump took office he promised Americans he was going to make ham sandwiches affordable again.  Once he took office in January of 2025 he started slapping other countries with tariffs to make America Great Again, but the only problem was, when the tariffs went up so did our ham sandwiches.  Then to close out a scary 2025 President Donald Trump said they have made so much money from the tariffs that he was giving Americans $2k checks, making people scramble to think they were getting that money before the holidays only for Donald Trump to say he didn’t remember saying he was going to give Americans $2k checks.  Now once again he is promising Americans $2k tariff refund checks and adding that he doesn’t think he needs congress to sign off on it.

Meanwhile, as President Donald Trump escalates his efforts to acquire Greenland from Denmark, the latest national polls reveal that most Americans oppose taking over the massive and crucially strategic island that lies between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans.  Trump is holding crucial talks Wednesday on Greenland with NATO allies during a quick stop in Davos, Switzerland.

As Trump’s approval ratings go down, the one thing Americans think is approval worthy is giving them a check.
