Trump Administration Officially Reneges On Replacing President Andrew Jackson With Harriet Tubman On The $20 Bill

Five years ago the Joe Biden administration was calling for a REMIX, “Now, what y’all want to do Want to be ballers, shot callers, brawlers, see Harriet Tubman’s image on a $20 dollar.♫”  The Treasury Department fell in line saying The Treasury Department is taking steps to resume efforts to put Harriett Tubman on the front of the $20 notes, …It’s important that our notes, our money … reflect the history and diversity of our country, and Harriet Tubman’s image gracing the new $20 note would certainly reflect that,…So, we’re exploring ways to speed up that effort.”  Prior to that The Obama administration announced in 2016 that Tubman, who was born into slavery in the early 1820s and went on to help hundreds of slaves escape, would replace seventh U.S. President Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.  However we are in a new administration that’s sole purpose and goal is to undermined anything that had anything to do with Joe Biden and Barack Obama, including putting Harriet Tubman’s face on the $20 bill.

In response to a question about the status of the $20 bill from Spectrum News, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, said the Trump administration was “not at present” planning to place Harriet Tubman’s likeness on it.
