Track Star Sha’Carri Richardson Arrested For Alleged Domestic Violence Incident

Sha’Carri Richardson secured that gold medal in the US women in Olympic 4×100 when she made her long over due Olympic debut at the Paris 2024 Games, winning a silver medal in the women’s 100m as well. Sha’Carri Richardson although is one of the fastest women in the world, she can’t seem to out run trouble. Sha’Carri Richardson has been arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident.

Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport following an alleged domestic violence incident involving her boyfriend Christian Coleman.  According to a report, Richardson and Coleman got into a verbal dispute while leaving airport security. During the altercation, Richardson allegedly pushed the Coleman, causing him to fall into a nearby column. Surveillance footage reviewed by police reportedly shows Coleman attempting to walk away multiple times, but Richardson allegedly continued to bump into him and at one point threw a pair of headphones at him.

Because of this incident Sha’Carri Richardson withdrew from the 100-meter semifinals at the U.S. track and field championships, and the 200 meters.
