We are living in a day and age where people don’t talk out their differences, they don’t take accountability nor punishment for their actions civilly, everything goes from 0 to 100 violently, unnecessarily. Scary, but true, you have to worry about your own employees and co-workers and what kind of mental state they are in at all times. A Michigan McDonald’s manager and mother of six was merely doing her job when an employee she sent home came back and stabbed her to death in front of customers.
The McDonalds 15 year employee, identified as 39 year old Jennifer Harris, reportedly at approximately 8 a.m. at the Eastpointe McDonald’s, engaged in a heated argument with a female coworker, per WXYZ. After sending the employee home over a quarrel, Harris likely thought the situation was resolved. However, within minutes, the employee returned, her face allegedly concealed by a mask as she launched a brutal attack. According to a witness who spoke to FOX2 Detroit, “She started stabbing her, and I ran for help… I tried to stop her—it was no stopping her. She stabbed her everywhere.” Another drive-through customer intervened, firing a warning shot in the air in an attempt to stop the attack. The suspect briefly stopped before attempting to flee but was detained by the customer, who held her at gunpoint until police arrived.
Let’s keep the family of Jennifer Harris, especially her six children uplifted in our prayers.
