Tony Buzbee Claims Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Is Paying Clients To Sue His Firm

The battle between Attorney Tony Buzbee and Jay-Z continues.  Jay-Z says that Buzbee was trying to bully him when he didn’t pay-up for Jane Doe’s rape claims so he had her refile her lawsuit against Diddy adding Jay.  Buzbee says that Jay-Z is the one that is a bully.  Now Buzbee is filing a lawsuit accusing Jay-Z’s Roc Nation of paying clients to sue his law firm.

The attorney’s Buzbee Law Firm filed a suit against Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by Jay-Z, as well as lawyer Marcy Croft and law firm Quinn Emanuel, accusing all three of violating various Texas state laws by allegedly offering a former client money in exchange for suing Buzbee’s firm.

“Roc Nation has been illegally soliciting individuals for several weeks to sue my law firm,” …“These two individuals who took the bait were promised money to bring the case. Both of these cases are utterly frivolous and will be summarily dismissed.” – Attorney Tony Buzbee

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, one of Buzbee’s clients — a guy named Gerardo Garcia — says 2 investigators approached him at his home, claiming to work for the State of Texas, and told him they were putting together a lawsuit against Buzbee that could “get [Garcia] a lot of money.”  Garcia says he recorded the encounter.

Texas attorney Tony Buzbee has filed dozens of cases on behalf of anonymous accusers of sexual misconduct against Sean “Diddy” Combs and has now included one alleging rapper Jay-Z participated in the rape of a teenager.
