Todd Tucker Is Calling Cap on Kandi Burruss’ Claims He’s Living “Rent- Free” In Her Guest House

As much as people don’t want to get a divorce, actually going through can be the worse and prayers for a peaceful ending of a marriage don’t seem to happen often especially when it comes to the business side of marriages.  Money is the root of all evil.

Last week reportedly according to new court documents Kandi Burruss is claiming that Todd Tucker is doing the most while paying not one red cent all while living for free in her guest house and she now is asking the judge to order Todd to pay child support and share in the expenses for the kids.

Now Todd Tucker is counter claiming calling cap on Kandi Burruss’ claims that he is living ‘rent-free’ in her guest house.

According to TMZ, Todd Tucker admits he stayed in Kandi’s guest house but says Kandi “unilaterally removed” him from the main house. Allegedly Kandi’s family moved his stuff without asking him or getting the court involved. Todd adds that he didn’t leave voluntarily but kept quiet to help “preserve peace and stability.”  Todd Tucker also maintains that he’s actually been taking care of Ace and Blaze while Kandi has been busy working in New York. Additionally, Todd mentioned in his filing that before their split in November 2025, they both contributed to a shared bank account for expenses. Once they agreed to part ways,
he said Kandi allegedly told him she would stop using the account and handle all of the bills herself. With that, Todd argued that Kandi’s claims about him being financially unstable are false.

Todd Tucker is now accusing Kandi Burruss of:
“… attempts to reframe and weaponize this self-created financial arrangement as evidence of financial instability or neglect, while the timing and sequence of events demonstrate otherwise,”
