This is tornado season as we are experiences historically different climate changes across America. The U.S. has had more reported tornadoes than normal with over 960 as of May 22. Violent tornado outbreaks, like the storms that tore through parts of St. Louis and London, Kentucky, on May 16, have made 2025 seem like an especially active, deadly and destructive year for tornadoes. Some take for granted the destruction of tornadoes, especially those who live in urban areas, who get more tornado warnings then ever really getting one. Unfortunately prayer warriors are being summoned for HBO’s ‘The Wire’ actor Tray Chaney’s son who is in critical condition after being thrown by a tornado that touched down in Georgia.
HBO’s ‘The Wire’ actor Tray Chaney best known for his character ‘Poot’ said his 18-year-old son Malachi Chaney was thrown nearly a football field from his home after the tornado ripped through their Locust Grove neighborhood just after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
“He was unconscious when they found him,” “Right now, he is fighting for his life in ICU.”
According neighbors they had little warning of the tornado that hit the Laurel Creek subdivision. Drivers on I-75 took videos showing the funnel cloud crossing the highway as the storm rapidly intensified.
We will be keeping Tray Chaney’s son uplifted in our prayers.
