The Tale of Two Cities: Pittsburgh Steelers DK Metcalf Delivered a Fist Pass To Lions Fan [VIDEO]

The tale of two cities went down Sunday during the 2nd quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. The Detroit Lions at Ford Field.  What the camera caught was Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf connecting on a fist pass to a Lions fan.  There is no question that fans go too far these days.  The question is what prompted a player on the field to reach up and clock a fan in the stands.

The Free Press tracked down the fan in the stands, who refers to himself as the biggest Detroit Lion fan ever, who said he was

“a little shocked. Like everyone’s talking to me. I’m a little rattled, but I just want the Lions to win, baby.” “My words don’t matter because it was on camera,”

The fan claims that he called DK Metcalf by his government name and that’s what set Metcalf off.

“What, my full name isn’t is DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf,” Kennedy said. “He doesn’t like his government name. I called him that and then he grabbed me and ripped my shirt. I’m a little shocked. Like everyone’s talking to me. I’m a little rattled, but I just want the Lions to win, baby.”

“Ochocinco”  on the Nightcap podcast:  Beg to differ with the fans version of what happened.

“I got word — obviously, I’m not condoning putting your hands on a fan or punching the fan — but he did call [Metcalf] a racial slur. He called him the N-word and he did call his mom an [expletive]. I think with those words being exchanged and the fan saying that, I think that’s where the action occurred.”
