A lot of times if an actor isn’t walking around the coveted Academy Award or if they are not an “actor” in “their” sense of the realm, an actor can be down played and we don’t get to the history of how they got to where they are now in success and/or their place in history.

We lost our beloved actor/comedian John Witherspoon, affectionately known as Pops from Boomerang and Ice Cube’s daddy in ‘Friday’, today, a man that took what some would think was a mole hill of a part and turned into a mountain of some of the most memorable scenes on the silver screen.
