Ava DuVernay ask’s the question, “what do you see when you see black boy’s” and then with her good given purpose she makes you put a name to children that where masked with a title so that you couldn’t see them, hence “When They See Us’.

Ava DuVernay put together a master piece documentary on Netflix titled “When They See Us”, a documentary that exposes a severe injustice handed to 5 black children age 14 to 15 years who where railroaded into being accountable for a rape in Central Park in New York that they didn’t commit.  A series that is painfully hard to watch but it should be on the must watch list to any black family with young male son’s.

The real, now men, of “When They See Us”  who had came to be known as the “Central Park Five,” who were exonerated by a jailhouse confession and DNA tests speak in the wake of the Netflix documentary.
