The Notorious B.I.G’s Mother, Ms. Voletta Wallace, Has Passed At The Age of 72

Prayers are in order as it has been reported that the mother of the late rapper, The Notorious B.I.G, Ms. Voletta Wallace has passed away at the age of 72.

According to TMZ:  Biggie Smalls’ mother, Ms. Voletta Wallace, died Friday morning in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, according to Monroe County Coroner Thomas Yanac.  TMZ also reports that hospice care and the cause of death here is natural causes.

Ms. Voletta Wallace was in charge of her late son, Christopher Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls aka Notorious B.I.G, estate that was estimated to be worth about $10 million when he died, and is now worth  $160 million.   In celebration of the life of the master lyrical storytelling rapper, Notorious B.I.G story was told on Netflix ‘Biggie: I Got A Story To Tell‘ produced by Diddy and Biggie’s mother Ms. Voletta Wallace.

Sadly enough Ms. Volettea Wallace never lived to see justice for her son, Christopher Wallace, who was murdered in a drive-by in 1997 at the age of 24 years old.  His murder is still unsolved to this day.

Ms. Voletta Wallace is survived by her grandchildren T’yanna Wallace and C. J. Wallace.
