Teyana Taylor is an entertainment force to be reckoned with and last night the multifaceted Teyana Taylor snagged her very first Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in A Motion Picture for her role in One Battle After Another.
Big up’s are in order, as many know the 35 year old Teyana Taylor for what she has done musically, ironically to be only Grammy nominated, but Teyana Taylor has done her thing on the big screen as well beating out Hollywood heavy weights such as beating out heavyweights Emily Blunt, Elle Fanning, Ariana Grande, Amy Madigan and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in A Motion Picture.
Teyana Taylor who was invited to the party but didn’t expect to win gave an emotional speech, in which she thanked director, Paul Thomas Anderson, whom she affectionately nicknamed Paul “Let ’em cook” Thomas Anderson.
“I almost didn’t even write a speech because I didn’t think I was [going to win],” “Thank you to the Golden Globe voters for seeing me and reminding me that purpose always finds its moment.” (to Paul “Let ’em cook” Thomas Anderson) “Thank you for your vision, your trust and your brilliance. My gratitude is endless,” Taylor said. “I love you. We love you, and thank you so much for holding space for me and our entire cast.”
“One Battle After Another” that was released in September if 2025 grossed $206.1 million worldwide.
