The FBI Alleges That Owner Of The Famous ‘Turkey Leg Hut’, Turkey’s Have Come Home To Roost

Houston entrepreneur Lynn Price, co-founder of the world famous ‘Turkey Leg Hut’ restaurant, is facing serious legal trouble after being arrested and charged with federal arson. According to authorities, Price is accused of allegedly paying some men $1,400 each to go to his former partner’s restaurant, Bar 5015, and burn it down back in 2020.  Then allegedly orchestrating a devastating explosion at a Houston-area bar earlier this year, reportedly targeting a business that posed competition to a separate venture he was involved in.

That’s a lot, right?  But wait there is a whole lot more..

While trying to convince a judge that Lynn Price doesn’t deserve bail the FBI is also alleging that Price was also drug trafficking and selling weed out of ‘Turkey Leg Hut’ and his other restaurant at the same location, ‘Daquiri Hut’.  FBI special Agent Deborah Cline says one of the men who Price hired to arson Bar 5015 confessed that he would move marijuana from California to Houston in order for Price to sell it at the restaurant out of bags that were labeled with the ‘Turkey Leg Hut logo’. He claimed that almost 1,000 lbs of weed was stored at the restaurant. According to Cline the restaurant was protected by security guards 24/7, which was part of the reason the drugs were kept there, Cline said.
