Stefon Diggs Say’s “THANK YOU For A H*ll Of A Year…” Following Reports Saying The Patriots Are Cutting Ties With The WR

The 25/26 NFL football season was one hell of a ride for wide receiver Stefon Diggs, welcomed his newest child with rapper Cardi B, made it to the Super Bowl, loosing to the Seattle Seahawks, lost his baby mama Cardi B then was slapped with charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery in connection with a Dec. 2 incident.   Now Stefon Diggs is thanking the New England Patriots for a hell of a season, as reports started floating around that the New England Patriots are moving out of the season by allegedly cutting ties with the wide receiver.

Word on the street was the New England Patriots are releasing wide receiver Stefon Diggs when the 2026 league year begins, ending his tenure after one season. Despite leading the team with 1,013 receiving yards in 2025, the move saves $16.8 million in cap space, avoiding a $6 million bonus that they would have had to pay him this coming Friday.

When the internet started clutching there pearls of the news, Stefon Diggs took to social media to respond to the word on the street.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network and Mike Reiss of ESPN, the team informed Stefon Diggs on Wednesday that they plan to release him next week when the new league year officially begins. Not long after the news broke, Diggs took to his Instagram Story with a message that read, “THANK YOU for a h*ll of a year.
