Stefon Diggs Pleads Not Guilty To Felony Charges In Court [VIDEO]

At the end of 2025 while flying towards the Super Bowl New England Patriots wide receiver and Cardi B’s newest baby daddy Stefon Diggs was slapped with charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery in connection with a Dec. 2 incident.  Diggs’ private chef at the time alleged that she approached him about back pay she claimed he owed her, and things quickly escalated, according to a police report obtained by PEOPLE.  She alleged that Diggs then “smacked her across the face,” … “tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck.”…  Stefon Diggs has “categorically” denied the allegations.  

The Super Bowl is now over, somewhere in all the drama Stefon Diggs allegedly lost Cardi B, however today Stefon Diggs is standing on his own two feet with no with no rings on his finger or woman by his side to answer to the charges is in court.

Stefon Diggs appeared in court Friday morning in Dedham, Massachusetts, where he formally pleaded not guilty to the assault charge connected to the December 2025 incident involving his personal chef.  The judge ordered Diggs to have no contact with the alleged victim while the case is pending. He was released on personal recognizance, meaning he did not have to post bail, but must comply with the court’s conditions. Diggs is scheduled to return to court on April 1, 2026.
