Stefon Diggs Facing Strangulation And Assault Charges [VIDEO]

Shocking news has been reported New England Patriots wide receiver and Cardi B’s newest baby daddy Stefon Diggs faces charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery in connection with a Dec. 2 incident.

In a statement from the New England Patriots:

“The New England Patriots are aware of the accusations that have been made regarding Stefon Diggs,” “Stefon has informed the organization that he categorically denies the allegations. We support Stefon. We will continue to gather information and will cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities and the NFL as necessary. Out of respect for all parties involved, and given that this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time.”

Diggs’ private chef at the time alleged that she approached him about back pay she claimed he owed her, and things quickly escalated, according to a police report obtained by PEOPLE.  She alleged that Diggs then “smacked her across the face,” … “tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck.”…

Stefon Diggs has “categorically” denied the allegations.
