In 1992 Dr. Dre dropped one of the greatest Hip Hop albums of all time ‘The Chronic’ and introduced to us a future legend in Hip Hop Snoop Dogg. The just as we were coming off our high from ‘The Chronic’, in 1993 Snoop Dogg released his debut album, another legendary Hip Hop album “Doggystyle”. Both Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg moved on from Death Row Records after etching themselves in Hip Hop history. However there is an old analogy that history always repeats itself and in the case of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, sequels itself.
It’s now 2024, Suge Knight is locked up, Snoop Dogg is the proud owner of Death Row Records and Dr. Dre is teaming up with Snoop again, on a highly anticipated new Snoop Dogg album “Missionary” produced entirely by Dr. Dre.
Snoop dropped the news on social media video, that “Missionary,” which is being billed as the sequel to Snoop’s 1993 debut “Doggystyle,” is set for release on Dec. 13. It marks the first full-length collaboration between Dre and Snoop since “Doggystyle.”
This album will surely be on every Hip Hop fans Christmas list.
