Singer Monica Put Her Mom’s Up On ‘CAP’ Game

Everyday it seems like there is a new slang saying coming out and if most of us are being truthful, we really don’t know what those slang sayings or slang terms mean.  Folks typically do one of three things, they either 1.) Kind of listen and figure it out, 2.) Google it, or 3.) ask a younger person ie your child… I mean you don’t want to be out trying to sound hip, using words all out of school do you?  And that same rule applies to R&B ‘Code Red’ singer Monica when she had to put her mom up on ‘CAP’ game.

The Every Time The Beat Drop singer couldn’t have her mother running around sounding all willy nilly.

Before we dig into what Monica did for her mom dukes, let’s educate ourselves first.  According to the Urban Dictionary the word ‘CAP’ is defined as another word for ‘Lying’, being used in a sentence one could say “no cap?” or “stop capping !!”

Grammy award winning singer Monica at the age of 41, shared a post, of a series of texts, she where she made the ‘Commitment’ to teach her mother the difference between using “cap” and “no cap.”
