Singer LaTocha Scott Slays ‘Residuals’ Freestyle In Search of Understanding [VIDEO]

Everyone loves social media challenges especially when celebrities hop on and join in the fun. Former Exscape singer and friend of The Sam Sylk Show hoped on her social media to release a ‘Residuals’ freestyle that is absolutely ‘FIRE’ filled with her testimony and asking for reconciliation in a video that has gone viral.

The “Residuals” freestyle, is an open verse challenge where people are supposed to hop on social media singing their rendition of singer Chris Brown’s ‘Residuals” tagging their video #residuals

It really wasn’t a secret that LaTocha Scott and her sister/Xscape group member, Tamika, had been in a unsisterly space, her place in Xscape had escaped her and rumors had been that her husband Rocky has been unfaithful to her.  Who did LaTocha Scott run too?  Her first love music, where in her ‘Residuals’ freestyle LaTocha express that she misses her sister, the pain of the dissolving of her 30 year marriage to Rocky as well as losing everything and being kicked out of Xscape.

“It’s a crazy feeling/ But y’all know family s**t be needin’ time for healing,” (referencing Tamika)…“Reading through them comments, saying he having a baby/ I don’t know who’s lyin’ and maybe I was blind,” …..“Even in a marriage, ain’t nobody perfect/ But we been split two years and my heart is hurting […] 30 years just washed away. It took some time, some years for me to escape this pain,”….“losing everything,” listing “marriage, family, my blood.” She did describe “losing [her] sister” and getting “kicked out of [her] group” 

Ironically LaTocha Scott lyrically poured out her hurt and pain on the social vehicle that she says was ‘tearing her down’.

Let’s keep our sister LaTocha Scott uplifted in our prayers as she reaches out for ‘Understanding’, and know that LaTocha Scott can always run to the Sam Sylk Show family. #AMEN
