Cleveland Brown’s fans are getting an interesting surprise Friday night as it has been made official that Shedeur Sanders will be starting at quarterback for the Brown’s preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers.
Interestingly enough the Browns just signed yet another quarterback, Pro Bowl quarterback Tyler Huntley to add an arm to the roster due to several injuries within the quarterback group, including Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel. Let’s not forget Deshaun Watson is still on the team, and he’s trying to get himself ready to play after a twice-torn Achilles tendon, and he’s going to get paid whether he’s on the roster or not.
Shedeur Sanders who has been standing up in the Cleveland community since he touched down in Cleveland but on the Cleveland Browns football field Sanders has gotten the fewest reps with the team’s starters so far at training camp.
23-year-old Shedeur Sanders says that he’s keeping all distractions at bay, even asking his Hall of Fame father, Deion Sanders, to hold off on visiting training camp.
So one has to wonder, are they really giving Shedeur Sanders a shot or are the just showcasing him for a possible trade.
Cleveland Browns fans, tell us how you feel.
