Shedeur Sanders Confronts Cleveland Sports Journalist Negativity With Positivity [VIDEO]

College quarterback Shedeur Sanders was taken in the 5th round by the Cleveland Browns who had the number two pick in the first round.  This important to know because in order to have a number 1 or 2 draft pick you had to have the worst or second to worst record in the NFL draft, unless you traded for it to receive it. Interestingly enough the Browns just signed yet another quarterback, Pro Bowl quarterback Tyler Huntley to add an arm to the roster due to several injuries within the quarterback group, including Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel.  With that being said Shedeur Sanders is 4th on the Cleveland Browns depth chart.

The Cleveland Browns who NEED a quarterback, started Shedeur Sanders in their preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers , away to a Carolina crowd filled with Shedeur Sanders jerseys on, not to mention the world tuning in to watch him, proved that he was clearly a 1st round pick (that he was projected to be out of college), helping the Browns take home a 30 to 10 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Shedeur Sanders could have been disgruntled about a lot of things but he stepped off a plane in Cleveland and attached himself to a Cleveland community whose organization may/probably won’t even want to to embrace nor keep.  However off the field Shedeur Sanders still keeps a magnetic smile on his face and chooses to address all questions with positivity, even questions he has of his own about why some in the Cleveland media continue to paint him in a negative light.

Tony Grossi is a radio/TV personality, author, and former newspaper sportswriter who works as an on-air host and Cleveland Browns reporter/analyst for ESPN Cleveland.  Shedeur Sanders caught up with Tony Grossi inside the Bank of America Stadium, with a question of his own, that has now gone viral and picked up national attention.  Sanders is seen asking Tony Grossi:

“Tony, I be hoping you got something positive to say about me. You only say negative stuff about me. And I’m like, ‘I ain’t do nothing to you.’”

Grossi’s response is hard to hear.

Sanders continues:

“I ain’t seen nothing positive you ever said,”  “What I do? What I do to you, Tony?”

What more does Shedeur Sanders have to do!??
