Shanquella Robinson’s Death Now Being Investigated As A Homicide

TLC had a song titled “What About Your Friends” that said:

What about your friends? Will they stand their ground? Will they let you down? Are they gonna be low down? Will they ever be around?  Or will they turn their backs on you?

All great questions, that all of us should ask of our friends.  In the case of the now being probed as a homicide death of Shanquella Robinson whose friends and Mexican authorities said that Shanquella died of alcohol poisoning, only for her broken body being returned to her family and a video of her being severely beaten, with her friends leaving her body in Mexico for her family to figure it out, the answer to the TLC questions would be “HELL NO”.

In October Shanquella Robinson, 25, of Charlotte, traveled on Oct. 28 with six friends to the resort city of San José del Cabo, where they stayed at the swanky Fundadores Beach Club.  Shanquella Robinson’s parents never bought that she had alcohol poisoning, then they received a death certificate has revealed that the cause of death was a “severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation,” an instability of the first two neck vertebrae, then a mysterious video dropped showing her being severly beat by what looks to be her friends.  You can even hear someone saying that she “could at least fight back.”

On Thursday, the State Attorney General’s Office of Baja California Sur confirmed the autopsy results and said that “an investigation was initiated for femicide,”.   Femicide is considered a hate crime in which a girl or woman is killed because of their gender.  Now The FBI Charlotte Field Office confirms to Queen City News it has opened up an investigation into the death of Charlotte resident, Shanquella Robinson.

Shanquella’s travel companions, who have not been identified, could not be reached, by news outlets, allegedly four numbers were disconnected and two numbers went to voicemail. Text messages to those numbers were not returned.
