Senator Cory Booker Has Been Standing In The Gap On The Senate Floor For 15hrs and Counting [LIVE VIDEO]

There has been a lot of things going on since President Donald Trump took office for a second term in January, that has been causing many Americans to loose their jobs as well as creating anxiety for many.  Many common folk in America that are starting to question the government process that seems to be imploding by the stroke of one pen.  It is fair to say that Donald Trump won fair and square, however why has our elected officials, been so quiet about what’s going on.  Or does everyone in office agree with what’s been going on?

It seems that we have one person in the senate that is standing in the gap for those who are concerned, New Jersey Democrat, Senator Cory Booker.

Senator Cory Booker has been on the Senate floor for over 15hours in a marathon speech against President Donald Trump and his administration’s “reckless” decisions. He said in a video that he plans to hold out for as long as he can in an effort to make a difference. Cory Booker filibuster that started at 7pm on Monday has paused only to take questions and a breath from Democrat allies.  Cory Booker is speaking largely targeted spending cuts, including efforts to dismantle the Department of Education and immigration policy, warning Americans that Trump’s policies could soon affect their lives.

 55-year-old Senator Cory Booker has vowed to keep going “as long as I am physically able.”
