Say My Name Say My Name “Candyman” Sequel Trailer Has Dropped [VIDEO]

I think it’s safe to say that Jordan Peele has officially crossed over, flawlessly if may add, from funny man on Comedy Central’s ‘Key and Peele’ starring Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele to King of Horror. ‘Get Out’ Stephen King there is a new sheriff coming to town as now director/producer Jordon Peele has done it again with the remake classic of ‘Candyman’ and he is bringing a little flavor to the 1992 remake classic by splashing it with Destiny’s Child ‘Say My Name’.

The “Candyman” remake will pay a lot of homage to the 1992 original “Candyman”, Tony Todd, playing his famous role. The Jordan Peele remake is also once again set in Chicago’s Cabrini-Green housing projects but the famous notorious house project no longer exists, so 2020 “re-imagining” will center on the gentrification of the North Side Chicago neighborhood.

The Oscar winning, New York native, Jordan Peele is also responsible for “Get Out”, “US” and the new “Twilight Zone”.

“Candyman” is set to hit theaters this summer on June 12th.
