Remy Ma Drops A Surprise EP ‘Alimony’ [VIDEO]

The internet battle between Grammy nominated rapper Remy Ma and her estranged husband rapper Papoose has been messy in one regard but for folks that are fans of the Hip Hop culture, musically it’s been fire. The public legal battle between Pap and Remy went viral in nature when Papoose filed for divorce in 2025 and more recently, his legal team sent Remy a cease-and-desist over her song “W.Y.F.L.,” arguing that some of its lyrics targeted him and his girlfriend, boxing champion Claressa Shields. Papoose then responded by releasing a new track telling his side of the divorce journey saga in a new track titled ‘Jezebel’. Remy Ma is now letting it all hang out, dropping a surprise EP titled ‘ALIMONY’

Remy Ma new EP, Alimony, features production from Hitmaka, Ron Browz, Platinum Sellers, Juice Dukes, DJ Mac and Crash Dummy. Its centerpiece, “Why I Get Married?,” delivers sharp, conversational storytelling around love, relationships, growth and the moments that make women look back and ask, “Girl, what was I thinking?” A new video for the track is also available.

According to Remy Ma:

“For the past few years, there have been so many conversations about me, and so many people telling my story. I didn’t feel like I needed to answer everything. I wanted to put that energy into the music. Now I’m ready to let the music speak and experience this next chapter with the people who have continued to support me.”

In the caption for Remy Ma’s EP ‘Alimony’ surprise to her fans on IG say’s “For years, niggas tried to trick me out my spot and tell me what I was and wasn’t capable of. Never again will I ever play small to make a nigga feel big!”
