Grammy award winning singer, Chrisette Michele has been dealing with cancel culture surrounding her performance at President Trump’s inaugural ball almost 8 years ago. She has been dropped by her label, struggling with depression, and suffered a miscarriage. Fast forwarding to now rapper Nelly is allegedly set to perform at Donald Trump’s Inaugural Ball.
Is the culture different now?
Grammy Award-winning artist, Nelly, known for his global 2002 smash hit, “Hot In Herre,” is set to perform at one of President-elect Donald Trump’s three official inaugural balls.
Other artists performing at Trump’s inauguration include country music star Carrie Underwood, who will deliver her rendition of “America the Beautiful,” and The Village People, whose song “Y.M.C.A.” became a mainstay at Trump campaign rallies. Snoop Dogg has been reported to be performing at a separate pre-inauguration event known as “The Crypto Ball,” however Snoop himself has not confirmed the appearance yet.
