Prosecutors Feel Team Diddy Is Dragging Out Cassie Testimony To Get A Mistrial [VIDEO]

Cassie Ventura has been thuggin it out on the witness stand, not hiding behind the name Jane Doe, 8 months pregnant and about to pop, literally, since Tuesday, in federal court against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.  Prosecutors have wrapped up their extremely graphic and revealing questioning of Cassie.  While Diddy’s defense team is having Cassie read out loud text message after text message.

Cassie Ventura, ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs and one of his accusers, is back on the stand for the fourth day of her testimony in Combs’ federal criminal trial. The judge is urging lawyers to wrap up with Ventura before the weekend, as she’s due to give birth soon.  Prosecutors feel that the defense is purposely stalling, because if Cassie goes into labor before finishing her testimony a mistrial can be declared.

In a letter to judge Arun Subramanian, prosecutors claimed Sean Combs’ defense team had the opportunity to begin their cross-examination on Wednesday, but instead requested to end the trial day early.   Later that evening, the defense produced 400 exhibits which “predictably and significantly delayed the proceedings” of cross-examination, the letter read.  Prosecutors say Combs should not be afforded the chance to drag Ventura’s cross-examination into next week, which could risk a mistrial if she goes into labor.
