Prayers: Tyler Perry’s Nephew Commits Suicide In Jail

Prayers are in order as sad news is being reported that the nephew of Tyler Perry, 26 year old Gavin Porter has hanged himself in jail.

Gavin Porter the son of Tyler Perry’s sister had allegedly been placed in solitary confinement in a prison in Louisiana after being in a fight with another inmate over the weekend. Guards are saying that when they went to check on Porter around 8pm on Tuesday night he allegedly used his bedsheets to hang himself.

Gavin Porter was serving a 20 year sentence for manslaughter. Gavin Porter pleaded no contest to shooting and killing his father in front of his mother after having an argument with his father.
