Prayers: Rapper Lil Nas X Announces The Passing Of His Mother

Prayers are in order as Grammy award winning rapper Lil Nas X has announced the passing of his mother, Tameka Hill.

The ‘Old Town Road’ rapper took to his social media to pay tribute to his mom.

“RIP TO THE BADDEST EVER! LOVE U FOREVER MOMMY,”

Reportedly Lil Nas X had a complicated relationship with his mother revealing in 2020 that she struggled with addiction.

“I never really talk about my mom,” the Grammy winner told Variety at the time. “She’s an addict, so we don’t have the closest relationship. Even trying to get her better — things didn’t quite work out. But there’s still love.”

But at the end of day no matter what, she was his mother and he loved her.

The sad news of Lil Nas X losing his mother comes just days after revealing he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and had entered rehab for mental health support.
