Prayers:  Denver Bronco’s Super Bowl RB Ronnie Hillman Has Passed, Age 31

Prayers are in order, as sad news is being reported that former Denver Bronco’s running back that led them to two Super Bowl wins, Ronnie Hillman, has passed away at the young age of 31 after battling cancer.

According to reports Ronnie Hillman was diagnosed with renal medullary carcinoma, a rare form of cancer that is highly aggressive cancer that primarily affects people with sickle cell trait. 

The news of Ronnie Hillman’s passing came in the form of a tribute from the running backs alma mater San Diego State University’s social media and website.

“We are saddened to hear about the passing of Ronnie Hillman. Ronnie helped resurrect San Diego State football in his two seasons in 2010 and 2011 and has recently been around the program offering wisdom and insight.”

We will be keeping the family, friends, colleagues and teammates of Ronnie Hillman uplifted in our prayers.
