Prayers are in order as it has been reported that 69 years young, Bonnie Pointer of the legendary, Grammy Award winning, The Pointer Sisters, has passed away from cardiac arrest. The news was announced by her sister Anita.
In a statement released by Anita Pointer
“Our family is devastated, on behalf of my siblings and I and the entire Pointer family, we ask for your prayers at this time,”“Bonnie was my best friend and we talked every day,” “We never had a fight in our life. I already miss her and I will see her again one day.”
Bonnie Pointer was a founding member of the Pointer Sisters who eventually went solo best known for her hit single Fairytale, written by Anita and Bonnie Pointer.
We will be keeping the members of the Pointer family uplifted in our prayers.
