Prayers:  Actor Danny Glover Reveals He Has Been Diagnosed With Alzheimer’s [VIDEO]

Prayer warriors are being summonsed as legendary actor Danny Glover at the age of 79 years old reveals he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Danny Glover Glover, and his family spoke in an interview with former NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt in an interview sharing for the first time what life is like now for the four-time Emmy winner who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a disease that more than 7 million Americans over age 65 live with, that is a progressive, fatal neurodegenerative disease that robs people of their memories. Black people are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia compared to white people, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Since being diagnosed, Danny Glover’s movements, speech and memories have slowed. However, he is still active, attending events and engaging with his community in his native San Francisco.

Danny Glover is most famously known for his role in 1980 and ‘90s as Det. Roger Murtaugh alongside Mel Gibson’s Martin Riggs in the “Lethal Weapon” films and “Lethal Weapon 2,” as well as his iconic leading role in Steven Spielberg’s The Color Purple.
