Prayers: 49ers Legend Terrell Owens Shares The Loss Of His Father “He’s Gone, Rest In Peace”

No matter how old you get, it’s always hard to experience the loss of a parent.  Prayers are in order as 49ers legend Terrell Owens has shared on social media the passing of his father  L.C. Russell.

In a heartfelt post on social media the NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver, Terrell Owens said:

“He’s gone. He’s finally gained his wings,”  “… The past few years have been filled with heartache. Lost my cousin due to a drunk driver 2 years ago, my aunt Bink to cancer literally a year ago today and now him. This hurts.”…”Despite any situation, I’ve always loved my dad. I’m so glad I had the chance to tell him how much I loved him. He wasn’t perfect, and that’s okay. Neither am I. You’ll be deeply missed by many. There would be no ‘TO’ without him. Love you, Dad! Rest In Peace. Thank you.”

Terrell Owens who was raised by his found out who his biological father was around 11 years old when he had a crush on a neighborhood girl, and his father, who lived across the street without young Terrell knowing he was related, pulled him aside to say he could not date her because she was his sister.

No cause of death is needed to extend prayers.
