Phylicia Rashad Honors The Life Of The Late Malcolm-Jamal Warner [VIDEO]

Although the Huxtable household was a fictional household on the Cosby Show, with the lineage of the show, the actors grew up together as a family right before our eyes for entertainment, but as a family as actors that worked together on the air on the air for almost eight years, from September 20, 1984, to April 30, 1992, airing on NBC.   Malcolm-Jamal Warner ‘Theo’ On ‘The Cosby Show’ passed away at the age of 54 years old in July in Costa Rica on a family vacation and drowned while swimming.

Last night Theo’s mom, Clair, Phylicia Rashad delivered an emotional tribute to her late Cosby Show co-star Malcolm-Jamal Warner at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards as part of the “In Memoriam” segment.  Actress Phylicia Rashad described Warner as a “beloved teenager in an iconic television series” and stated that, like other lost friends and colleagues, he “remains in our hearts”. The tribute also highlighted the foundation his wife is establishing to honor his legacy of nurturing children’s “inner light” and supporting young artists.
