Philly Students Go Viral Mocking Black History Month In Black Face [VIDEO]

There is a thin line between being cruel and disrespectful even thinner line between those and being ignorant, and sometimes people can just be all of the above.  The parents of this next story should be upset and embarrassed after some Philadelphia students have gone viral for mocking Black History Month in black face.

Protesters are standing outside of an all girls Catholic school in Philadelphia, St. Hubert’s High School, after a video circulating online went viral showing teenage students spray painting another student’s face black and making racist remarks, such as, “You’re a black girl.. It’s February… know your roots.. you’re nothing but a slave…” plus more.  Protestors are wanting the students to be charged for hate crime.

St. Hubert’s High School posted this message on their Facebook page in regards to this disgusting incident.

We are extremely disappointed to learn that anyone associated with Saint Hubert’s would act in such a manner, which is entirely inconsistent with our value. Please be assured that this matter is being actively investigated. All those responsible will be disciplined appropriately in accordance with our school handbook.

The difference between public school and parochial school is, suspensions come quick, parochial has to watch the video, pray on it then figure out how much in tuition they might be loosing.  #IJS
