Ooop !! It Looks Like Brian McKnight Is Suing Errrrrrrrrrbody From The New York Post To Podcasters Plus More

It looks like R&B singer Brian McKnight is starting back at more than one lawsuit, allegedly now he is suing media from The New York Post  to podcasters for speaking on his personal life.

According to reports, McKnight filed a lawsuit naming his former wife Julie McKnight, his son Brian McKnight Jr., podcasters Marc Lamont and Tasha K, as well as the New York Post. The singer accuses the group of spreading a “sensational but false narrative” surrounding his personal life, particularly allegations that he was an absent father and refused to express love to his son, Niko.  In the lawsuit, he describes the situation as a case of “malicious character assassination,” claiming that the narrative portrayed about him has been “shockingly dishonest.”

Brian McKnight specifically calls out Tasha K, celebrity news broadcaster and online personality who lost a suit recently involving Cardi B, claiming she falsely accused him of infidelity and of engaging in inappropriate relations with a minor, claims he strongly denies, and has left him with no option but to pursue legal action, seeking damages for the reputational harm he says he has suffered as a result of the accusations.

This is following back in March when Brian McKnight filed a suit against “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” and host Karen Clark, claiming defamation.  Urban One is seeking dismissal of the case, pointing to the “actual malice” standard for public figures and claiming that the disputed statements are opinions, according to radio trade outlet Inside Radio.
