Prayers are in order as one of teens shot this past weekend at a Bath Township Airbnb party in Ohio has died.
In a neighborhood where crime is basically nil 18 year old Elijah Wells from Akron, was one of seven people shot and two others injured, when he was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center where he died from his injuries at 12:48 am, on Thursday, November 6th.
The incident that has made national news, police say, shortly after midnight, Wells was at a home in the 900 block of Top-O Hill Drive that was being rented out through Airbnb for a birthday party when multiple shots were fired and Wells was struck by multiple bullets.
In a statement released from Bath Township Police Chief Vito Sinopoli :
“Our deepest sympathy is extended to Elijah’s family and loved ones during this time of incredible loss. We’ve learned three additional victims were released from local hospitals yesterday. We continue to hold the two remaining victims, who remain hospitalized in local medical facilities, in our thoughts as they continue their recovery.”
