Ohio State & Michigan Both Fined $100K Following Post Game Brawl

One of the biggest rivalries in college football is Ohio State vs. Michigan.  So much so that a coach on either side of the ball could loose every game that season but that game and still keep his job.  Ohio State Buckeye fans were already smoking when they took an ‘L’ to an unranked Michigan Saturday.  However the battle on the field went into over drive when a Michigan players decided to plant there school flag at mid-field right in the middle of the ‘O’.

And that’s when the fight broke out!!

On Sunday night, the Big Ten announced fines of $100,000 each for the University of Michigan and Ohio State University following a postgame altercation after their football game in Columbus, Ohio. Michigan won 13-10, marking their fourth consecutive victory in the series.

Buckeye fans really don’t care about the fine, however what they do care about is when is the powers that be will pull the trigger on Ryan Day, who’s record against Michigan is 1-3 as Ohio State’s head coach, and his only victory ahead of the 2024 game was in 2019 with a 56-27 win.
