NYPD Charged With Stealing $2,900 Worth of Jay-Z’s Ace Of Spades Champagne

Three NYPD detectives took perks of the job to another level, now they are being charged with a felony after steal $2,900 worth of the rapper Jay-Z’s ‘Ace of Spades’ champagne while on duty.

Warren Golden, 31,  Jonathan Gonzalez, 33, and Wojciech Czech, 44, were on duty for narcotics enforcement at the 2022 Electric Zoo Festival, on Randall’s Island when they made their way to the VIP.  A group in VIP ordered some bottles of Ace of Spades, the group left their table temporarily, that’s when Gonzalez grabbed two unopened bottles of Ace, which cost a total of $2,900, and placed them on a table where he, Czech and Golden were standing.   The bottles ended up in the detectives bag but unbeknownst to them someone their peeped their snatch game, and reported it to security.  When the three NYPD tried to leave they were stopped by security and relieved of the stolen ‘Ace of Spades’.

On Monday, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced Jonathan Gonzalez  and Wojciech Czech are each facing a charge of grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and Warren Golden, was slapped with a charge each of official misconduct.  Read More
